Exposed to pink eye at work! Should I use Zymar drops for my Lasik Surgery?

So no one told me a client had pink eye today. Now I’m scared. I’m getting lasik in March so the doctor gave me Zymar drops for after the surgery, but it says they’re good for pink eye too.

I’ve already rigorously washed my hands and face. Should I use a few drops of the Zymar to prevent getting pink eye?
I wasn’t sure when I was scheduling the surgery because I have to put in for time off of work well in advance. It does no good to schedule it for a weekend because I work weekends too.

So they filled the Rx anyway so I’d have them.

well if he says theyre good for pink eye too
then why not?

why would he give you eye drops though for a surgery thats 2 months away
