Your idiot surgeon should have tested you before doing the surgery. It can take weeks to months to never to get used to it and your surgeon should have tried it out with contacts before doing something permanent. Give it some time but realize that you may need to have the other eye done if you just cant get used to monovision

It doesn’t hurt at all; my mom performs it regularly as an opthamlogist and none of the patients feel pain because numbing drops are put in the eyes before the surgery.
