Is Lasik Eye Surgery effect last for a long time or it’s only good for a couple of years?

I went through Lasik Treatment 5 years ago, and I have perfect 20/20 vision after the surgery. I was really happy about the result. But lately I start to feel that my vision is getting worse rapidly. And I couldn’t find any information regard the long term effect of LASIK online. I’d really appreciate any information, personal experience or professional suggestion. I want to get as much information before I get back to the clinic where I get my surgery for a check up.

My Daughter Inlaw allso had Lasic eye Surgey done about six years ago. Her vision i still 20/20 and has never uttered one complainat but i’m sure if she felt her vision was decreaseing she would go right back to the clinic.
My Daughter inlaw is allso an RN and keeps up to date regaurding any long term effects of Lasik Surgery.
I would recomend you getting checked out at the clinic and keep your vision up to the 20/20 level.
