Post Lasik Astigmatism

Should You Go For LASIK
There are several things About Lasik that you should understand before you make your all important decision about whether to go for it or not. You should always make informed decisions, that best integrates your personal preferences, maximizes benefits and gives you the best value for the money spent. Here are some key information that you can research further on the internet.
First of all, understand the fundamental technology of LASIK, which is to correct the refraction of light through your lens. So if you have short sightedness, long sightedness or astigmatism, then LASIK will directly address all these problems, and correct them to a certain extent. If your eye problem does not deal with correcting the refraction of light on your lens, then LASIK is definitely not for you.
Next, understand the hidden costs of LASIK. Yes, the major cost of LASIK is for the main procedure of correcting your lens, but there are other costs that may be of concern to you. You will need to do pre-LASIK and post-LASIK check ups to determine your pre and post eye conditions. Your doctor will also need to prescribe medicine for you after the procedure.
Finally, understand that LASIK is not perfect, and though it corrects your vision acuity pretty well, note that it is an artificial procedure that changes the functionality of your optical lens. Here’s my suggestion. Why not go for a lower cost, safer and more natural way of correcting your vision first? This is a no-brainer low risk suggestion.
I have corrected my vision without the use of LASIK, and I am glad I chose a more natural and safe method to do so. I have searched for natural ways to improve my vision, and have found one that actually works for me. Do check out the scientifically proven, natural and easy way to improve your vision, without burning a hole in your pocket.

I can recommend Ultralase in Birmingham. That is where I had my eyes done about 3/4 years ago now. It really was the best thing, absoutely amazing being able to see so clearly without contacts or glasses and I, like yourself, had stigmatisms. I think now the procedure has changed since I had it done, but if you make an appointment, they will assess you and then take it from there. Goodluck.

Because of the "what if" factor. What if something did go wrong. I would guess it would ruin the Drs practice and his way of life. Also,i believe there is still not enough evidence for the LONG TERM effects of this procedure.
