Is Lasik Eye Surgery an outpatient procedure, or do you need to remain in the hospital?

My husband is being told that he has to remain in the hospital for a full 4 days after having LASIK done.

I have never heard about it being an inpatient procedure before. Is he getting scammed by the clinic?

the person i know who did it went home that very same day. Did you ask them if there was a problem? it seems very uncharacteristic. I’d ask.

I have heard from many people that airlines prefer your eyes be corrected by lenses. They do not recommend laser surgery because of the complications. They’d rather have you wearing coke-bottle classes if you have to then to go blurry during a landing.

it DEFINITELY has long lasting side effects…..BETTER VISION!!

you need an expert to advise you but laser surgery often doesn’t work and usually needs to be repeated and is doubtful for severe vision defects, without knowing the cause it is impossible to advise you

yes u can, i have stigmatism in both eyes and im able to have laser surgery, but u need to have a consultation at an optical specialist who deals with laser surgery. It also costs more than somebody whos just shortsighted by over twice as much.
