Lasik Study

Is it possible I can become a marine pilot (gpa, age?)?
I graduated 3 yrs ago w/ a marketing degree. I’ll be turning 27 in month and a half. Had a lot of stuff going on, my gpa was a 2.6. Say I study my a$$ off and kill the written exam. ? Is it possible, if I start now, I can get into marine corps flight school?
also, I’ve had lasik, now I have 20/20. I know they are starting to accept this.. do I have to tell them I’ve had lasik?
I’m in excellent physical condition.
not likely. the GPA is waaayyyyy too low and your age is a major hurdle. they tend to NOT waive that requirement for Aviation.

Funny I didn’t see the word "pilot" in your question. Don’t get the surgery until you talk to a recruiter. If you have the surgery it will delay you from six months to a year just to enlist. The navy checks your correctible vision as well as your uncorrectible vision. Go through the physical process first if you are serious about joining. If they deny you cause of your eyes then have the surgery. At least do the process first. I’m a navy recruiter in Ohio
