Your eye doctor can determine if you are a good canidate for LASIK. The pros far out-weigh the cons. the cons being, you have to put eye drops in for a month after surgery and some slight discomfort from the healing process. I find it isn't any worse than wearing contacts; same sensations for me right now. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago and I am very happy with the results and so glad I did it.
