Only your eye doctor can tell you what is best for you and your situation. In the US, it is legal to to it at 18. It is not a good idea to do it until your eyes have been stable, or unchanging, for 2 years or more. There are other factors that they look at as well. corneal thickness, tear quality, inside eye health and mechanics, etc. laser surgery does not keep your eyes from changing in the future. All eyes change over time and they change with or without surgery. You have to remember that the surgery is not covered by insurance and costs several thousands of dollars if you go to a reputable place and get it done by a good doctor. Do not go to a doctor that has really cheap prices....go to this website and read. maloneyvision.com Dr. Maloney has done so much in the pioneering of laser surgery and has a best selling book, has done most of the FDA trials and can even refer you to a reputable doctor in your area. I do not work for Dr. Maloney, I just know they have good resources and fantastic information.

Lasik eye surgery is always heard in good reviews… I think that as per Indian currency per eye cost for normal myopia surgery is 35000/rs

Thanks
