There are several possible reasons for your symptoms. You may be having regression in your prescription (some of you near sighedness returning). You could be developing an inflammatory phenomenon called “Sands of the Sahara.” You could be developing epithelial engrowth under the corneal flap. The eyes could simply be getting dry and you are in need of aggressive lubrication.

This is why you should never ever get any surgery of any kind on any part of your body in a place where you do not having ready access the follow up care should complications occur. You need to go in to an eye doctor that is experienced in LASIK and be ready to pay him the money you thought you were saving by going to India so he can make sure you are not having serious complications and if your symptoms are serious then he can deal with them.

No it is not covered by your insurance. It is considered and elective surgery because they feel you can wear glasses or contacts for a cheaper price. I know it costs around $4000. I had a customer tell me about it and I am not sure about what the qualifications are. I think you can be any age as long as you are not a young child.
