Lasik Night Glare
Can you get anti-reflective contacts? I have terrible glare from Lasik Surgery?
I get glare at night and on various LEDs / Lights. Also get eye strain from computer work. Any help could be appreciated
I wear contacts – no you can’t get anti-reflective contacts. What you want are oxygen breathing contacts – let the doctor know that you work at a computer and need contacts for that. There are some expensive contacts that are specifically designed for this (letting more oxygen to your eye so they don’t dry out as easily) – but it is worth the cost over the cheaper brand that dry out really quick. Still, after a year of wearing contacts at my computer job – I recently got a pair of glasses (with anti-reflective) and definitely prefer them to any pair of contacts. I just carry my contacts and slip them on before I drive to/from work. Pretty handy.

I haven’t had it done but beware of the risks. It is not a permanant fix and many have had to go back to glasses within 10 years of surgery because of prescription changes.
