Lasik Equipment

As of 2 years ago, Lasik did not have the equipment to treat eyes with large pupils. Has this changed?
I knew an eye surgeon (cute but my friend’s bf) and he explained to me that Lasik machinery had only been made to operate on normal/average eyes. He said that once the surgery becomes much more popular, it will be profitable for a company to design a system that can also work on (my) eyes with large pupils.
Obviously he knew what he was talking about, as a Lasik surgeon, but I am wondering whether since then this new equipment has been manufactured. Does anyone know?
There is Wavefront Lasik which increases the chances of success but as far as I know, there is nothing definetive and the odds of seeing disturbances such as halos and starbursts, as well as double vision is still quite a bit higher for people with larger pupils
Good luck!

It is a great procedure! but it is uncomfortable for a day, and VERY VERY unwise not to wear sunglasses, in fact they say to always wear sunglasses after having it done

ask your Dr. who he would reccommend locally.age isnt so much the question.18 is old enough..so long as the Dr. is competent you should be fine. Its not inexpensive tho..and as you get older youll still need glasses to help you see up close.
