Does Lasik improve the quality of vision in terms of vision contrast and sharpness?
princeidoc, this is more than 20 questions i asked at optical section. u can keep counting if u wish. it doesn’t bother me. really. as long as others benefit from my questions and i get to know and help my friends to raise their awareness in eye care, nothing going to deter me. i hope u are very clear on this aspect.
princeidoc i am surprised by what u said in edit. no i am not. infact i am most worried if i sound silly for questions posed. my only desire is to wish to know more through public sharing. thats all.
My contrast and sharpness is the same now after PRK as in contacts…I do not see a measureable difference.

You talk to people in your area who have had it done and make sure they are happy with their results. Ask the ophthalmologist how many laser procedures he has done and then keep checking until you feel secure…you only get one set of eyes so don’t jump into this without investigation.
