It’s expensive but worth it, it doesn’t hurt, although if you are quite squemish it’s nice very nice because they tell you exactly what they are doing…and now I’m just going to burn your cornea…but it doesn’t hurt. Afterwards your eyes water like hell.

I had it done a couple of years ago. I had an astigmatism in my right eye and all around poor vision. Before the procedure they give you a valium to help calm you. You are awake for the procedure and they numb your eyes so you do not feel any pain at all. they do one eye at a time and it only take 10 minutes. you will not feel any pain but you will smell a slight burning hair scent. When the procedure is done they give you giant sun glasses that you have to wear while you sleep no patches or anything. your eyes will be very sensitive to light right after the surgery. They recommend you go home an take a nap when it all over, which I did and when I woke I could see pretty well. By the next day my vision was clear. Since the procedure I have noticed some blurry issues with my left eye but nothing that requires glasses or a touch up just yet.
