Lasik Canada
I was told I need to go to Canada for Lasik, I have a high astigmatism, is this safe?
I went to a Canadian company that has an office in Syracuse, NY. I was told that my astigmatism is so high, that the FDA has not yet approved Lasik for my prescription yet in the USA. However, they said that I can drive to one of their Canada locations, and have it done there, since Canada has approved Lasik Surgery for twice my prescription. My family is very weary of me doing this, should I have anything to worry about?

I had custom intralase (Blade Free Lasik)done six months ago and I am pleased with the results. You really have to do your research about this elective surgery and ensure you find a well respected surgeon in the field who has performed thousands of operations. Good Luck
