my mom had it and i watched the whole thing. they put eyedrops in your eye and make an insicion in your eye and put the laser in it. dont worry its dosent hurt my mom said she didnt feel a thing. your vidion gets better over a few months and you have to wear sunglasses of few months too and you have to be awake

If its purely for cosmetic reasons then you would have to put a case forward that your appearance (with glasses) is harming you psychologically but thats a long shot.
