Lasik All Laser
Lasik Surgery or prk . Which one to consider?
I need a opinion from any one who has gone thru or thinking about eye surgery. I am a 31 yr old male,my eyes are 501 and 506 microns With slight astigmatism and I have had one doc recomended me to have All Laser Lasik and one doc saying to get prk done cuz my cornia is not thick enuff. I need some info from any one gone thru similar situation give me some info to what surgery they picked and what’s the post sugery thoughts.
PRK seems like the more mature approach. Endure some pain rather than taking a risk.

A lot depends on the doctor’s expertise but I would go with Lasik. Before you decide ask the Navy if either will disqualify you to be a navy pilot.

It turned out perfect, there is no pain and only mild discomfort afterwards. As long as you can sleep after the surgery, you’ll be fine! It only goes wrong if you start freaking out and moving a lot, then the surgeon can’t help but screw up. If you can spend a little more, find the machine that can track smaller movements of your eye so that you don’t have to keep staring at a stupid red light.

Well, my sister had it when she was 25 she can now see things perfectly. But 12 and 25 are far apart??? :s
