Laser Eye Whitening
are teeth whitening and Laser Eye Surgery considered cosmetic surgery?
im doing a paper on it and i need to know so i can put it in my essay. thanks!

Teeth whitening is certainly a cosmetic procedure, whether you have it done with a bleaching gel or whether you have the laser whitening treatment. Surgery? I would say no. No surgery is involved.
Lasik Surgery, is not cosmetic. Although, it has cosmetic appeal, for not having to wear glasses afterward. Meanwhile, for insurance purposes, the insurance company will probably not recognize Lasik as necessary surgery, because glasses are available, cheaper.

Have you discussed this with a doctor? If your vision has stabilised then laser can be great for a few years until you need reading glasses.
