Laser Eye Surgery Side Effects

Those who have had Laser Eye Surgery?
I am considering this process. Do you recommend using it to correct vision? What were some side effects, if any, you experienced?
I had it done and it was like night and day.
I just got tired of messing with my contacts and my glasses rolling down the bridge of my nose. What a difference it makes waking up and not having to squint to look at the alarm clock and especially not having to reach over for the glasses, just get up and go.
I was originally near-sighted so all objects beyond arms length were fuzzy but I was able to focus in on objects just 1 1/2 inch away from my eye.
This I knew I had to sacrifice because now I can see everything around me crystal clear but now to focus in on small detailed objects they must be about 7 inches away from my eyes.
As for the starburst effect, I think I do remember experiencing this at the very beginning but it gradually went away because now my night vision is great.
Depending on the work you do, I highly recommend it, but if you work in the art field or anything that requires detailed work or havinge to focus in as close as possible, you might want to think about it. If you are into sports then go for it as soon as you are of age.
Most importantly, if you decide to do it be sure you go to the best Laser Surgeon in your area or travel to a major city. They may be more expensive but so what, in the long run it’ll pay for itself.
Whatever you do, don’t base your decision on price because you should never ever bargain when it comes to your eyes!
Remember, you get what you pay for.
