Laser Eye Surgery Effects

Does wearing contacts effect your Laser Eye Surgery?
when you wear contacts and you want to have surgery a laser surgery does it effect it can you even have the surgery if you wear contacts?
Laser surgery is done in guidance of a eye surface map-this map changes by contact ens use-you should stop wearing them at least 4 weeks before your surgery appointment.
Contact lens wearers are often developing a dry eye that gets worse after surgery-you will need more tear drops than others-that’s all.

I, myself, have never had Laser Eye Surgery, but my old boss has. She explained to me that it does not hurt, and it only takes about ten or fifteen minutes. They put special eye drops in your eye that keep you from blinking during the procedure, and all you will hear are tiny little pops. The only side effect is that your eyesight may be a bit blurry, but that will not last but maybe an hour or so, I’m not positive. You will need someone to drive you home, though, but that’s it. No worries!

I heard that they put anaesthetic on the eye to make it numb and you only feel a bit uncomfortable for a short time.

Because they still can’t guarantee it. Are you willing to risk your eye sight to possible be able to see when you are done and in the end you may still need glasses. So what did you accomplish.

i believe that it actually cuts off part of the roundness of your eye to allow light to focus better on the optic disk.
