Laser Eye Doctors

if i was to have Laser Eye Surgery.. could the doctors only get it to 20/20.. or could they go like 20/10?
Depending on your respective situation concerning your eye (and your age)…most Ophthalmologists can correct you to 20/20 or better. Keep in mind that if you are nearing or already in the Presbyopia stage in your life (needing reading glasses for near vision correction) you may not wish to be corrected to better than 20/20 as this will only reduce how well you accommodate in the near vision distance. This is why most Dr’s performing Laser vision correction will chose to correct you to 20/20 or 20/25. For example, if a patient is 36 years old (4-6 years from the average Presbiopic stage in their life) they may not wish to be corrected to 20/20 as they will require reading glasses sooner than a patient with 20/25 distance vision. Ultimately your eye Doctor will be the best judge given your specific situation and what you wish to get out of the surgery.
