As long as your grade(?) is stable then you shouldn't have any problems. Also you have to go through a battery of tests to determin the quality of the eye, if its viable for surgey. After 18 or 21 years old is a good age to have the surgery as long as you pass. I had my surgery around 6 years ago and my vision is still 20/20 up to now.
