one of my friends got Laser Eye Surgery and she said it was the biggest mistake ever. she still has to wear contacts and it messed her eyes up.

Glasses or contact lenses would correct your vision while you are using them – there is no other way to permanently improve your vision.

i’m having Laser Eye Surgery soon but i’m going to india to have it done because its cheaper even with the flight costs and they have a much higher success rate than they do here in England which is rather strange as India is a relatively poor country. Good luck

hmm… this is a question that is best answered by the doctors that are examining your brother. But from what you said, it sounds like your brother has Nystagmus. It is a "dancing" type movement of the eyes where if longstanding or congenital can cause a decrease in vision. If it is of recent onset, it makes the world seem as it is moving all of the time. If this is what your brother has, Laser Eye Surgery will not correct it, because the problem is not in the "refractive" part of the eye (or cornea). It is more of a neurological (brain processing) or retinal (back part of the eye) problem or maldevelopement of either of those structures that is causing the problem. Again, ask the doctor that looked at him for further details. I hope this helps a little!

I brother-in-law had it done. He doesn’t wear glasses anymore, but he says his vision still isn’t perfect. He’s just too vain to put on a lower prescription eyeglass.
