Keloid Lasik

I want to join the Army but I’m afraid?

I’m trying to gear the rest of my education and life to best benefit me when I join the US Army because I want to make it my career. So I’m 15 right now and I plan on getting a degree and attending some ROTC as well as working out to go above and beyond the APFT requirements before I enlist in Artillery when I’m done.

What I’m afraid of is if I do all of this and end up getting DQ’d. Then I’ll be pretty pissed and won’t know what to do with my life for awhile. Some things that I have that I think might DQ me would be bad eye sight (I plan on getting LASIK), keloid scarring on my shoulders (not movement restricting though) and minor hemorroids on my ass hole.

Should I plan to do something else I with my life or just keep going to try and join the US Army?

I’m a medic in an artillery unit most things will not “DQ” you unless it inhibits you from
perfoming your duty, get educated come on over serve to the best of your ability.
SHOOT, MOVE, COMMUNICATE !! But always leave an avenue to best serve yourself
you’d like to have a job that will always be in demand.

P.S. If you are not afraid, you have a psychosis, a hero does the job no matter what, under any condition.

Good offer,I would consult my guide dog before talking to them again.

You should speak to your eye doctor about that. Some people have higher risks than others. Also…I’m not sure when the eye stops growing/changing.
