i have been wearing glasses since 5th grade (i’m 23 now) and when i was about 18 i asked about Laser Eye Surgery. my optometrist told me that it COULD be performed but it is best to wait until you are at least 21 simply because your eyesight still changes pretty frequently before then. if you go too soon you may have to go back again within a matter of a few short years for a whole new correction. i am just now starting to look into it again!
