		<description>That is what the going rate is here in Nebraska. I think that if it is a good doctor, then it is worth it. Some insurance pays for some of it. But just keep shopping around. My bf had it done last year and paid 2500.00 and is very pleased</description>

		<description>With the laser surgery, they can not correct both eyes for distance and near, what you would end up having to do is mono vision surgery or correct your distance and wear reading glasses for reading and possible the computer. It&#039;s great that you already wear mono vision contacts, it shows that your brain can adapt to mono vision (not everyone can), so you would be a candidate for mono vision surgery, although over the Internet, no one can tell you if you are a good candidate for the surgery in general (lots of things factor into that, pupil size, corneal thickness, dry eyes...)</description>
