Army Lasik Policy

can one get corrective eye surgery (lasik) paid for as a cadet in the army rotc?

as a newly contracted cadet I am wondering what the army policy is. thanks for any info.

Absolutely not. This is considered Elective Surgery and you will be hard pressed to find any insurance company to pay for Elective Surgery. Tricare would absolutely not cover a single penny of the procedure.

To give you an idea. Insurance Companies classify boob jobs as Elective Surgery.

Also, I’m not sure if you’re even under Tricare as a CDT.
